MEET THE TEAM
Issa Shaker
Issa is a Palestinian based in the Netherlands. He grew up in Jerusalem, a city surrounded by news, where he started working as a cameraman and editor for the BBC. Now he's a seasoned filmmaker, bringing untold stories to life. He's also an experienced trainer for professionals and students (from high school to university level). His students consistently evaluate his training skills 5/5.
Femke Noordink
Femke has an international career, working as a journalist, editor in chief, videographer and documentary maker in West Asia/Middle East, Brussels and the Netherlands. She's specialised in writing, research and directing media productions and holds two Master degrees, in film and television studies and in international literature.
Alysha Polet
Alysha is a master's student majoring in International Development Studies with
interest in history, politics, international relations, and media. As an intern at Moving Stories, her goal is to gain experience about media and journalism with a societal approach. Alysha is assisting us in different kinds of ways, from doing research to editing.
